Yearbook photo/pic...

AC & I met up before our noon class today to had our photo/pic taken for the yearbook. As Final Year students, we can have our pic taken to be included in the yearbook. I reached the venue at around 11.30am. AC was there waiting for me. Of course, after the long walk under sun, I am sweating & like.. damn tired. *wipe sweats* :p

Before taking any pics, we had to fill in our particulars. So anyway, the photographer would take 3 pics at a go for each set. AC had her pic taken first, & then me. While I was taking my first set of 3 pics, AC was looking at her first set of pics & she was unsatisfied. & then I looked at mine, & ummmmm... let's say, I look terrible in pics.. Cutting the story short.. I had a 2nd set of pics taken & then AC & then me again.. If you had counted, you would know that I had 9 pics taken & AC had 6 pics taken. Bahhh.. My pics.. all come out damn horrible le!! I was not in the mood for anymore picture so I just simply picked one; going with the best of the worse pics - with help from the photographer & AC.

We then went to class - not really satisfied with the pics taken - complaining bout how they should let us submit our own pic.. which would look way better & other stuff. Oh yeahh.. not forgetting, Mr. Cameraman kept on going "Relax, relax, smile, smile".. Bahhh.. At one point, I felt like hitting him (with my file or something). Ohhhhh yea.. we (AC & I) both agreed that - it's the CAMERA that's LOUSY, it's the CAMERAMAN that DON'T KNOW HOW TO TAKE PICS; that's why we don't look good.. hahaha... We just wanna blame others... :pbpbpb

  • We are seen crossing Bukit Beruang road. Crawl carefully. Please forward this to your turtle friends so that they also will save their own lives.
  • Kill the turtles .. they are causing havoc to mmu students

The "JOY" of being attacked by viruses...

I thought I could spend my weekend catching up with my reading (of my FYP notes).. but I didn't get to any of it. On Friday, mainly because I was lazy, I just played around, surfing 'net & continue composing my Canon.. Then stupid me tried to find for the crack for the program I was using to create the song. So what happened? Got attacked by like tons of viruses.. Mainly Trojan. Nortan (Antivirus) keep popping up messages.. Bahhh.. I was like damnnn... & I quickly disconnected my computer from the network. & then I thought it was going fine since Nortan deleted most of the files & quarantined the remaining. How wrong was I..

After supper yesterday, I came home to find Nortan stopping e-mails going out to unknown.. there were like tons of pop-up messages from Nortan. Again, I quickly disconnect my comp from the network. Afraid something might go wrong, I then starting backing-up some (more important) files. Later, I went back online.. No problemo.. But an hour later, the same problem struck again!! Grrr... *curse curse*

Exhausted, I turned off my comp & went to bed. Somehow, I can't fall asleep so I decided to get up & back up all the stuff in my D drive (the infected drive). To my horror, I can't "enter" my WinXP. I was stuck somewhere before the login screen for ages. Thank god I had another OS (Win 2000) for my C drive, else I would've probably loose all my stuff. But then, I felt really annoyed that I couldn't view any of most wanted files/documents in the other drive. sJ recommended I enter to my WinXP in safe mode & with that, I managed to move all my wanted stuff to C drive.. ...blablabla...

Today, the whole Sunday, was spent on formatting my D drive & reinstalling WinXP & my other programs (haiya.. so many!! *sobs*). Until now, I am not totally done with it. *sigh* I hate learning lessons through my mistakes..

    Fire Alarm (yet again!!)

*Fire Alarm Ringing (so loudly I must add!!)* HMMmmmmm….. What The… I was asleep since 1am for a change & suddenly I am in for a rude awakening. What are the chances!!… Second time in a week!!! Anyway, I was like half asleep & I was like.. ah.. it’s probably fake one… & was going to just go back asleep.. but 2 things held me back. (1) What if it’s real?? So like an idiot (since there wasn’t a fire), I came out from my room to check. Nobody’s outside the building. So, I with that – conclusion: has to be fake one liao. (2) The fire alarm that was ringing… was like.. RIGHT OUTSIDE MY ROOM… WhatThe…

Okay, I heard voices outside of my room when it went off.. & it sounded like it belonged to the opposite house guys (that just moved in yesterday), so it most probably them who triggered the damn alarm.. & that.. happened 15 mins ago. Now I’m wide awake… How to go back to bed? *Curse the person who triggered the alarm*

    Satisfaction

Muahhhhh.. I sacrificed my sleep. I am about halfway through with my "Canon". It's satisfying when you get the "product" you want =) By the way, I have a name for my variation; which I forgotten to mention in my previous post. It's called "Canon In My Heart". Hopefully, I'll be done with it by tonight =)

But right now.. *yawns* I think I need some sleep...

    Mutterings in the morning..

This post is mutterings of all sorts. At nearly 6am (with the mosque blarring already), people would probably start waking up, but I haven't even been to bed yet. Oh well, it's the second night in a row I am doing this. I am very capable of staying awake til the wee hours of morning. That reminds me - I wanted to say this a long long time ago - I am born in the wrong side of the world - or rather; I should've been born like.. say.. halfway across the world. From young, I always have trouble going to bed at night & waking up in the mornings - which would fit perfectly in another timezone in the west. I also like Western food - a LOT. As a Chinese (& although I look really Chinese), I can't speak proper Mandarin - I sound funny when I speak in Mandarin. English is like my main conversation language. & I also personally can't bear to take in Chinese food few days in a row - most people would hardly understand why so - I don't know either; it's just not in my "system" - oh yeah, I rather have bread than Chinese food & rice.

So what am I doing up so late?? Well, my feelings are numbed - from 5 hours ago - & still is now. I feel like giving up something in my life - we'll see about that. Anyway, I was kind of busy just now. I was trying to "convert" my Variation of Canon into softcopy & later to hardcopy & audio from my brains. I had came across & memorised my first piece of "Canon" in piano class in 1997 & I really liked it. & then when I came to Uni 3 years ago, I met a guy who was crazy bout "Canon" as well, who then became my best buddy (now not so close d). He kind of inspired me to come up with my own variation of Canon & now, after so many years of listening to so many other composer's variations, I have my own mix. The funny thing is that I am having lots of trouble "penning" it down (in the computer) now. The thing is that I am so into the song that I no longer play from memory, but from heart. I find it cool that I can play that song with my eyes close; although I would occasionnally hit a couple of notes wrong - I am boasting hor? Now its jammed up in me & I have a lot of trouble trying to "extract" the notes. So far, I am only like 10% done. Crap. I actually wanted to finish it up by today but I don't think the time agrees with me. I wanted to cancel out an agreement to go out later in the noon in order to finish it & sleep later in the noon; but some people just won't take NO for an answer. *sighs*

Oh yeahh.. I forgotten to talk about what happened in class on Wed. We had class in the new block. At some point of the lecture, the fire alarm went off. Bahhhh... of course we went like... Ooooo fire alarm... is there fire?? Should we like..leave? But the lecturer went like.. Hah? Really fire meh? It's the first time I am teaching here (refering to the new block) le.. I don't think it's fire la.. Let's just continue. *gulps* Errmm... We went like What? Later really got fire, then we would all be burned alive.. So then he gave us a 5mins break while he went off to check. Obviously it was a false alarm la.. Else I would be roasted alive d la.. won't be sitting here. Heheh.. :p

    Learning from FYP..

Yup.. me, AC & SW is already learning from our FYP... What have we learned?? We learned that all 3 of us have not fully utilize the library for the past 3 years+ we've been here - all of us have never ever borrowed a book from the library.. & worse... we do not know how to find for the book we want on the shelves.. *runs & hides*.. So basically... today we learned how to find book at the shelves... ahhahaha....

Today, after I came back from my classes, while I was in my house.. I heard an interesting conversation.. Mind you, I wasn't eavesdropping.. Anyway, I overheard a lady telling an international student... "You are from *** (country name censored) right?... that's why only RM1200 (for the rental of a whole house I guess). If you are local, it would be RM7000." YES.. it's RM7000.. a 7 with 3 zeros.. At first, I thought I heard it wrongly, but then she kind of repeated that sentence another 2 times, so I am sure she said RM7000. My guess is either she was trying to cheat the international student into renting the house "cheaply" compared to locals, or it could be that she really meant RM700, but had translated wrongly when she said it in English to that guy.

It's raining as I am writing, or rather I am typing this.. it'll be a nice night to sleep!! Good night people..

Birthday Wishes to a crazy girl...

Argghh.. I came back on Saturday evening, packing like mad & only finally finished up just now. Meanwhile, I'm quite irritated because I can't open 2 out of 5 slide notes for a subject that will take place later at 4pm. It's bad because one of it is the first lecture note; which is the one that will be used in tomorrow's class. Bahhh..

Plus, later have to kiasu a bit, go grab FYP registration form & quickly sign up the wanted title. Ahhh.. Life in classes again after more half a year without them.. (due to holidays, industrial training & more holidays..).

Hmphh... my motive of bloogging today is that..... today is 14th of Nov; 24 years ago.. a crazy girl was born. For some strange unknown reasons, she likes pain. She would jump on the bed at night, refusing to go to bed. When she was scolded by her mum, she would said "You cane me la mum, then I would sleep better.". Bahhh.. she must be mad... but she's my sister.. Hahahhaa...

    sis..

    You're old!!

    Kids say/do the darnest thing(s)

Back from my Hari Raya holidays yesterday.... Left for JB on Thursday to visit my uncle (a Chinese Muslim) & his family & then stayed in hotel most of the time for the rest of the days; except during lunch(es) & dinner(s).

My little cousin (7 years old) left my aunt stumped for a moment when he asked "Mummy, when a boy & a girl together, they will have babies is it??" Err.. how to answer him ahh?? My aunt told me the other day at a wedding dinner, he said "When a boy & girl get marry, they will have children"; something like that. Ermmm... *speechless*. The other day his dad asked "Can I carry you or not?" & he replied "no, because I'm going to Standard 2 already" (meaning like big boy already; cannot carry la). His dad asked "What if I want to carry baby? Can I carry you or not?" & he replied "Then you wait; you carry your grandson la". Aiyo... where got kids say like that one hor? Mostly will say "You have/born another baby la"... Oh yeah.. That's not the end of it.. His dad asked him "What if your wife's father also want to carry the grandson le? Then who gets to carry the baby?"... & he said "My wife's father. Because if not, he will get angry. You are my daddy. You won't angry one..". *faints*

Hmmmmm... last week of hols. Feel so lazy to go back to the classes routine after a longgg holiday - lazy to pack & unpack, clean up my room (in Malacca), to study & go for exams.... Oh waittt... Now I'm dead.. I've only read 2 pages of my FYP material that my groupmate photocopied for me... Arghhh.. Need to finish them this week!!! So lazy!! Me so lazeeee!!! On the other hand, it would be fun to meet up with friends again & have my 24/7 internet connection.
