bad luck... & driving...

This morning, I had a 10am class. & of all the dreams I could have had, I dreamed that I had gotten out of bed. Suddenly, I was wide awake. I glanced at the clock.. First word of today was a curse. Crap!!! The first minute was spent deciding whether to go to class or not. Haih.. Final sem already la.. better go la.. Quickly rushed to the toilet... then rushed to class. & of all the classes I could have had, the classroom was situated in the new building, which is like the blardy furthest building from both (fron & back) entrance... Oh, I was also very "lucky" to miss the lift by half a minute & had to run up 2 flights of stairs.. Lucky enough that the lecturer haven't started conducting the class even though I was a few minutes late. He has the tendency to stare & glare at people who walks in while he is teaching halfway, which is kind of scary...

Anyway, after class, we went to the EduFair to have a look.. some "big" companies there, but seems like most of them are looking for Engineering grads.. grr... After the fair, I joined sJ, KY & JH for lunch... which I then accidently spilt half a cup of sugarcane water on the table.. splish splash splosh.. Haih.. I felt so baddd.. There was a stack of file - from the bottom was KY's, then JH's, then sJ's then mine.. the bottom 2 files got the worse outcome.. sugarcane water nearly everywhere.. aihhh.. I am so so so clumsy!

Luckily my day got better after that..

I had a night class at 8pm to replace the class that was cancelled in the first week. sJ had class at 8pm too... So he came over to my place first for dinner.. which after that... I drove us to campus & after class, I drove us back to my place. Hehehee... Oh yeah.. of course with a little help from sJ every now & then la.. else I crashed the car already la.. He said I'm improving *beams proudly*.. but then again, it seems like I drove like nobody's business.. hogging the road with my slow driving.. nearly crashing into cars parked on the right side of the small road & not quite used to using the side & rear mirrors yet.. But anyhow, I feel more confident with driving now.. My peers would probably laugh at me.. while others can already speed so fast, here I am, still stuck with the dumb P sticker. :P Reason? I only took the driving lessons & exams few months back... hahaa.. Unnecessary fear is definitely something I have to conquer..

Too much has been on my mind.. With the FYP & some other projects on the way, it's already a headache to most of us. Oh well, one has to do what needs to be done - taking a well-needed break from the acdemic life.

Today, sJ & I left for MP at nearly 12pm today, & only returned at 8pm. Had a whole lotsa fun just eating, walking around, watching a movie, shopping & not thinking about academics stuff. Plus, what makes it more enjoyable is that it's been a really long time since the last super long hours date.

Blabbing aside, so what we did for the V-day? Nothing special la.. He had class nearly the whole day.. even had a night class. I cooked - spaghetti carbonara with some mashed potatoes and veges - for dinner. Darn proud to say, I made the sauce from scratch.. hahaha.. it's quite simple actually. Just lucky it turned out nice :p Really la.. nice la.. else why would I get the request for the same meal for tomorrow's dinner? Hehehee.. I'm just boasting..

Tomorrow's another special day for me.. for us.. 3 & 1/2 years & still counting. I should probably shut up already. What happened to me? Normally I don't blab this kinda stuff.. Oh well, whatever..

On a different note, I hate hate hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! inconsiderate people. I can understand the need to blast music.. but why do some people have to blast at 12something midnight?? I was already asleep last night, & someone had to go & blast music, so damn loud that it awoken me. At first I thought it was just for awhile, so I let it be.. But it just went on & on, until I can't take it anymore..... that I had to go & bang his door & ask him to PLEASE lower down.. grrr.....

Long BORING Weekend

I have a darn long weekend - started from Tuesday 12pm until this Sunday.. that's like five & a half day. Boring boring boring. I'm stuck in my room - too lazy to walk out even to the shop nearby. The only times I went out was on Tuesday & Thursday. On both that night, was out for FYP discussion, which both times ended up to be a "makan"/eating session.. more like we were chomping down CNY goodies than doing what we're suppose to.. Thursday noon was spent in JJ (follow my friends) for lunch & a short shopping trip.

Today.. Oops, I meant yesterday (since it's literally Saturday now), I was so bored I watched 14 episodes of Desperate Housewives Season 1.. Talk bout desperate! That's 9 & 1/3 hours spent watching the show. I am soooooooooooooooooooo booooooooooooooored.. can't you tell (from my boring post)?

I've been putting off blogging since I came back.. cause I've only blog once during the 3 weeks holidays & I've lots more things to say that just that.. & after procrastinating for so long, I decided to skip all those crap.. & get back on track with the new semester..

Today marks the first day of a new semester, but for me, it's more tan just that. It also marks the last semester of my degree course & 99.99% the end of my "study journey" (0.01% that I might continue studying). I went to bed at nearly 1am, was awoken by what I thought is the sound of rain at 5+am (I'm not sure whether it did rain or was it just noises from the opposite house) & woke up at 7.15am.. cause I've a blardy 8am lecture to attend. The lecture lasted for bout an hour.

This week, I'll only be having 4 hours of lecture - sweet huh? I'm taking 4 subjects (including FYP) this semester. I've 3 lectures (6hours) + 3 tutorials (4hours), so that makes 10 hours per week to attend & it's all Mon - Thurs class. This week, my classes are 8-10 on Monday & 10-12 on Tuesday & I'm pretty much free for the rest of the week. Stilll thinking bout what to do after that..
