I choked on dirty water..
Blehhh..
Yesterday was team building day for me.. Ooops.. it sounds kind of wrong huh? Company's team building thingy la..
Nothing much in the morning.. Just some communication session & talk.
However, in the afternoon, we went to Sunway Lagoon..
We were divided into groups & had to play games @ treasure hunt style. Clues were given, we had to find them & complete the task/challenge given.
So the first we went to was in the kiddies-like pool.. task: counting money. 1 cent & 5 cents coin were glued to the floor. So in the about-30cm-deep pool we went & tried counting like mad.. Right above was bucket filling up with water... before I knew it, it came splashing down. What else? Talking too much... I choked on the splashing water. Yucks.
Next, we went on to a ride. 2 person in a tube, sliding down, have to took for alphabets while in the tunnel (Sorry, I can't recall the rides names). My team mates (2 girls) who went before me screamed all the way down. Kind of freaked me out. So I just stared up at the tunnel when we started.. It was okay at first.. But then it got really steep & I started to freak out. It was near the ending of the ride, I choked down water.. AGAIN!! The water was gushing up & it just happened. & I closed my eyes for the last few seconds of my ride. Man!! Right now the feeling I have is that I NEVER want to ride that thing again!
After walking about, the next we attempted was something called Pirate Ship (something like that la.. I was too freaked out for nearly the whole day long to remember). 5 person per group were required to complete the task. 3 guys agreed to do it. There were 4 of us girls. After "debating", I agreed to go for it. BECAUSE... I was told by the guys that the ship just swings - no 360 degrees turning. Well, the moment the ride started, I just closed my eyes. I started thinking of some other things to get my mind off the ride. Then... the guys just decided to be irritating & howl... Hehe... & I screamed back "shut up". Heck, I'm trying to calm my mind & those howls are not helping at all. I felt the swaying went higher & higher. But at last, when I opened my eyes, it was the end of the ride. & the guys started apologizing bout the 360 degrees turn. Apparently, the last time they came, the "ship" just swing without any turns. After that, we were required to scream "Merdeka!" 3 times. (I still don't believe I went on that crazy ride. & that it turned 360 degrees. Heck. That's the last time I'm getting on one of those things too!)
Moving on, the next one was pretty easy. It was on the bridge. A distance was given. Task was 5 members need to stretch out. Started out with stretching of hands, to the need to take of some clothes to make things work.. until a guy came up with the brilliant idea. All lie down & stretch. Worked well.
After that, was another ride. 4 person need to go on it.. Can't remember the name but a 360-degree-turn-ride for sure. I immediately say No.. I'm so not going on another such ride. So my team mates went. After the ride, we thought we were done... But, we were given a puzzle like thingy to do. I don't know to explain but you gotta make a 3x3x3 cube out of the long string of 1x1x1 cubes attached to each other & would only bend at certain angles. Mutual agreement that another guy & me fix the thing while the rest goes for other task first. He just simply twist the thing & suddenly it was nearly done. A quick fix & we got it done.
Then, my teammates did another task & at the end of the task all of us were required to dance (like umm.. mad is the word I would use). We were then already late. *sigh*
Our team did not win anything but it had been fun - despite drinking dirty water twice & having to do things I would not normally do. Seriously, no idea what had gotten into my brains for doing them - the pirate ship ride & the tube ride (2nd ride).
Oh my.. 12.30am already.. & I'm working afterwards (YES, I WORK ON SOME SUNDAYS!!). Arghhh.......
