Today I updated my interface & did 1 part of the database. Took nearly the whole day.. til around 4pm I stopped working on it = end of story =
I also learned to fix the Lan cable thingy... You know.. the cable you use to connect modem to router or router/switch to your computer @ network card. Steps? Cut the white wired around the 8 tiny colourful wires about 1.5cm (my estimation) away from the ends. Then, sort out the 8 wires nicely, according to the colors => light orange, orange, light green, blue, light blue, green, light brown & lastly brown (should be correct la.. not refering to any materials now =P). After sorting them nicely next to each other, the next step is to insert it into its umm...I don't really know the thing to plug in is called... head perhaps? After that, make sure they fit nicely before clamping them using a special tool... Done? Not so fast.. Finally, you must make sure it's working nicely (else customer bring home cannot use...). There is a special device used to check if the wires are properly & correctly fixed. I was successful on the first attempt =) so happy... ehehhe.. Thomas got the first one wired wrongly & was successful on second try.
Many customers today.. quite an endless stream.. Probably something to do with the fact that yesterday was the first day on the first sem of 2005/06...
